Max max max, I'd been your manager for 6 months and my god did I love having you on shift with me, you just got on and did it, you never whinged or moaned about anything. I was always giving you stick for walking at the same pace but saying you were consistent with it - “scooting around” in your steelys. Your favourite thing to do was putting your headphones on and going in the chiller to do small drinks and whenever I didn’t let you you used to say “see… if you’d have let me do it, I’d have got it done in half the time” knowing full well that wasn’t true🤣!
I remember on our last shift you were doing training on the computer and I asked if you wanted a sausage roll which you replied yes please, would you mind getting it for me with some mustard? I took it out to you and you said cheers mate so I said it’s the least I could do because this is what you’d always say to me when I thanked you for something.
You truly are a credit to your family and I am so grateful I had the pleasure of meeting you and working alongside you. I will miss our pointless debates, your cheeky smile and silly humour it really did make the days go faster, looking back now, I wished they’d have slowed down. You are the most kind and gentle soul I have come across and I will miss you so so much.
Thank you for all the fond memories you’ve left behind, you’ve touched the hearts of so many and I know I’ll always hold a special place in mine for you Max. Sleep tight bud.
